That blew my mind. I know what my water bill is every, every time it comes in the mail. And to think about being charged for an extra 3000 gallons of water just because I had a, a drippy Faucet, um, Kinda made me get heartburn super duper quick heartburn, that’s Water Damage Denver a thing. Believe it or not. And so, pardon me. And so not only the, the money waste and the money loss from, from that, but can you imagine what 3000 gallons of water, what that looks like, how much water that is. That is a ton of water.
But, um, simply the money savings though there are, well, you know, I, I’ve lived in a few places over my life where, you know, whether it was in college or, you know, some of my little apartments or condos that I lived on early on where I can remember, I can remember a little drips, I can remember little, um, faults in the system and I know some of them were, were leaky type things. And thinking back on it now, like what, where did that water go? Where, what happened as a result of those leaky pipes or that leaky connection or something like that. 3000 gallons of water in a year. And you know, depending on where the leak would be, you know, if it was right under a kitchen, you know, obviously you’d probably find it in your, you know, by figuring out that there’s stuff under your kitchen sink was damper wet.
So probably have a chance to fix it hopefully way before the entire year had gone by. But what if it’s behind a wall? What if it is in an area that you might not otherwise think about? Water Damage Denver Maybe it’s a, a spicket outside that just kind of has a, you know, a bit of a crack or something like that. And you’re, you’re essentially signing a waiver over on 3000 gallons of water going somewhere, whereas that, what’s that gonna do to your structure? What’s it going to do to your indoor environment? Um, plain and simple. The, the perfect breeding ground for mold or you know, so to speak, is a con, a consistent source of moisture with organic material. And so organic material is, uh, covers a wide range of things, you know, wood or so many things that are just naturally just about everywhere. Um, and you introduce water in that, into that and a consistent source of water.
And not only that, but um, you know, maybe kind of a cool dark place. So maybe a crawl space, maybe a, you know, obviously any, any sort of interior wall, pretty much anywhere be in the house that people wouldn’t, you know, consistently see or be around, be able to check out that that isn’t, it’s just a like a little hospital breeding ground, maternity ward four for mold to, to happen. And then like kind of like we’ve discussed before, depending on the type of spores that could result, um, type of sensitivities for the individuals in that particular property. It could be, it could, it can be a pretty legitimate health concern. So obviously never structurally or you know, just for many reasons you never want mold growing, you never want to allow the potential for water damage Denver to, to take place to, to just kind of be written off.
But then with these other things that we have to think about, it can turn to who, you know, much more serious situation. So it was just, you know, funny how sometimes these little funny tidbits of information, kind of these thoughts of the day will, will resonate so much. And this one did. And it just, again, you, you can go off on your own little tangent and think about what a more serious leak or what a more, um, you know, consistently give, if it’s not dripping every, just once a second, but maybe like every twice a second or maybe it’s a little stream that’s kind of coming out of a connection or whatever. Um, just multiply that 3000 gallons a year times x, you know, two, three, four, five, six and, you know, multiply the devastation and the damage and everything by that x as well. And uh, doesn’t take an incredible imagination to, to figure out that, that, that could be a very, very bad thing.
So be proactive. Take a look around, see what sorts of connections, what sorts of, um, potential failures could lead to a water damage Denver situation. A, uh, a potentially super costly thing, not only from your unit on your utility bill, but also, and, and probably more, more so the, uh, the thought of, you know, the damage that would have to be ultimately taken care of and the potential for mold to have to really get invasive into a property to get all of that cleaned up. Um, just these little things, these little Water Damage Denver tidbits that we want people to think about to certainly try to nip in the bud if they ever have kind of a ever kind of a, even a hint of something kind of going wrong.
