We haven’t been given the go ahead to do that quite yet. But it sounds like just a, you know, assisting the customer and giving them some tips and trying to help them help us. It looked, it sounds like there, there was some growth that was found, both the backside of the carpet tack Strip and on the dry wall. So that indicates that the uh, the moisture source has been in place for a while. It, it didn’t, that just doesn’t happen in a couple, two, three day type thing. It, it has to be pretty consistent over a period of time and it’s got to have different, you know, accommodating factors. So you can find that, that sort of informational on other podcasts. But if those factors are accommodating to potential growth Water Damage Denver, then it’s just a, it’s more likely than not that that mold will start to grow. And probably too,

to complicate things to a certain degree with this situation is this gal Water Damage Denver just happens to be a renter of this property. So it’s really not even hers. And you know, leases are written up in different ways. So not a, not sure how hers reads, but you know, it might be on her as far as anything that, you know, what happened mold wise, water damage wise. Typically the property owner would take care of something like that. Again, if it’s clear that it’s not negligence on, on the side of the renter, but you just never know, leases are drawn up all, all sorts away. So this, this renter felt enough culpability to call and at least, you know, attempt to order some type of work that would need to be done. Um, but once, once a mold is found, once there is evidence that there is growth, you’re limited, um, as to what, what you can do.

And we are limited as to what we can do. Um, before, you know, going much farther that that growth needs to be isolated. Really need to make sure, you know, you know, the parameters of it. It’s not going to be necessarily everywhere. Um, but what you don’t want to do is you don’t want to disturb it. And so when people, you know, just go at it, trying to scrub it or you know, cut it out and just randomly, you know, walk through the rest of the property, um, there’s the potential to spread. Um, though, you know, the, those strains and that mold, those mold spores and that is not something you want to get into that that really takes the job from whatever it’s going to be to, to potentially way more. So when w when one mold is found, when we’re doing a job of water damage Denver job or any sort of a response to something where there’s been moisture damage and the presence of mold is suspected or, or noted, um, we isolate, we, we go through a specific set of protocol to, to treat, to remove whatever you know, just depends on the surface, depends on, you know, what the scope of that project is.

And when she found that, you know, the, the whole idea of just coming out, cleaning carpet, pulling pad and putting a fan in motion, dry things out was not even a remote possibility. As a matter of fact, the second you introduce air movement, you’re basically, I’m telling the bowl to just go and, and spread and go wherever it wants to. So you never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever want to start plugging in fans and you know, creating all car, all types of air circulation when there’s mold present. Not a good thing. Please, please don’t do it. If you do, don’t say I didn’t warn ya it, it just is the headache beyond what you ever want to imagine. So best to isolate, get rid of, treat, whatever. Again, the courses for, for that specific project and then worry about drying after that. So, um, in any case, uh, we set forth kind of more of a realistic job scope and of course you know that that all of a sudden went from, hey, I’d like to have you guys out to, Oh, okay, I need to check with the property owner and check with my landlord to see what they want to do.

So there were, there were some culpability accepted Water Damage Denver, but I think this person may be realized. It might be just a touch, a more involved, maybe a little more costly than, than what they were thinking. And so they, they wanted to reach out and that’s, that’s good. I mean, that’s, I think most every landlord would appreciate, uh, their tenants reaching out to them and saying, hey, this is a process that needs to be done. Doesn’t matter really who’s going to take care of it. You know, we’re talking about probably getting a little invasive, cutting out drywall, you know, maybe maybe having to disturb some surfaces to get rid of this stuff. So why wouldn’t you know, a property owner want to be kept in the loop as far as something like that that would need to be done on that property. So in any case, um, that is story time for today. Um,
